Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 (NCO 15), is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing hospital-grade televisions and installation services. The Kansas City VA Medical Center requires 29 high-definition, hospital-grade televisions with articulating mounting arms. These units must meet specific salient characteristics, including UL safety standards, touchscreen support, "Nurse Call" capability, an approximate 15-inch screen, and an antimicrobial display. The televisions must be compatible with existing coaxial or IP patient entertainment systems and require AC and/or DC power via a coaxial signal cable, eliminating the need for a separate power supply. The scope of work includes the delivery, installation, and testing of these televisions and mounting arms in the Dialysis Rooms, Cardiology Rooms, and Ambulatory Service Unit Rooms. Vendors will also be responsible for removing existing outdated television units and mountings. Delivery and installation are to be performed outside of primary duty hours (7:00 AM through 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays) to minimize patient disruption. The delivery location is the Kansas City VA Medical Center, Warehouse Building 6, 4801 East Linwood Boulevard, Kansas City, MO 64128.
