Description
Clay County, Missouri is soliciting competitive sealed bids for playground equipment and installation services for the Juvenile Division Transitions Program. The scope of work includes providing and installing playground equipment, picnic tables, and trash receptacles on a pre-approved concrete pad. The vendor will be responsible for all aspects of the project, including layout, materials, installation, supervision, labor, transportation, and disposal of packaging materials. All equipment must meet IPEMA certification to ASTM F1487-25 standards and be approved/certified by the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC). Compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is also required. Vendors must submit plans for approval before commencing work and provide a warranty for the installed equipment. A minimum of five years of experience in similar services is required, along with at least three references from other public entities, local government, or private companies. The contract period is one year from the date of award, with four one-year renewal options.
