Description
The City of Lee's Summit is soliciting proposals from qualified suppliers for comprehensive airport food market, coffee, and vending services. The selected vendor will be responsible for the installation, management, restocking, and revenue collection of on-site food and beverage solutions. This includes providing new equipment such as coolers, coffee machines, and vending machines, with a commitment to 100% restocking and maintenance. The vendor must also offer a modern Point-of-Sale (POS) system capable of processing credit/debit and contactless payments, ensuring PCI compliance and end-to-end encryption. Services will be provided at Hangar 2 and will eventually transition to the GAT Terminal in January 2027. The scope also includes traditional vending machines in the Admin Building. The vendor is expected to offer a diverse selection of premium and standard snacks, beverages, fresh food options, and frozen items, along with a "bean-to-cup" coffee service comparable to high-end machines. The contract is for an initial one-year term with four one-year renewal options.
