Pike County Water & Sewerage Authority is soliciting sealed bids for construction of a filter backwash water treatment facility. The scope includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for concrete structures, yard piping, gravel and sand filter media, a dichlorination system, erosion control, and associated work required for a complete project. Bidders must be licensed utility contractors in Georgia. The bid must include a bid bond or certified cashier's check for at least 10% of the bid amount; the successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract amount. Qualifying contractors and subcontractors must submit the required Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act affidavit and participate in E-Verify. The project is expected to be completed within 60 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion and 74 consecutive calendar days through contract close-out.
