Description
The City of Fort Worth seeks one or more agreements for as-needed commercial moving and relocation services across City-owned facilities. The scope includes packing, loading, transportation, unloading, placement, disassembly and reassembly of modular furniture and workstations, office and surplus-property moves, storage, and related logistics support. The vendor must provide labor, supervision, vehicles, equipment, tools, materials, and incidentals; respond to regular requests within two business days with quotes within five business days; and respond to expedited requests within two hours and be onsite within four hours. Services are generally performed Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional approved after-hours work. The City anticipates a single award but may make multiple awards, and each move will be separately quoted. The anticipated annual expenditure is up to $658,500, while historical average annual spending was $161,565. The solicitation is subject to a 30% Small Business participation goal, calculated from the Bid Table total, and requires current certification for participating Small Businesses. Proposals must include the authorized signature and questionnaire, required City forms, Small Business Utilization Form and certification, deviations form, signed addendum acknowledgment, technical responses, and the Bid Table. The City requires commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and professional liability insurance under the draft agreement.
