Description
Birdville Independent School District is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for unarmed security guard and after-hours patrol services supporting its Facilities Maintenance Department, Transportation Department, district facilities, vehicles, equipment, and other assets. The scope includes scheduled vehicle and foot patrols, monitoring buildings, exterior doors, gates, parking areas, fences, buses, and other designated assets; incident and daily activity reporting; emergency response; officer staffing and replacement coverage; supervisory inspections; patrol verification technology; and coordination with district personnel and law enforcement. Proposers must provide hourly rates for unarmed patrol officers, holiday coverage, overtime, and any monthly security vehicle fee. The response must address management, technology, staffing reliability, officer recruitment and training, quality assurance, patrol operations, emergency response, and relevant experience, and must include specified forms, insurance evidence, licensing, business-history documentation, sample reports, and photographs of proposed uniforms and patrol vehicles. The initial contract term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, with four additional one-year renewal periods available by mutual consent and a possible 90-day transition period.
