Description
The City of Carson is soliciting bids for the supply and delivery of specified telecommunications materials, including 96-count and 288-count single-mode fiber optic cable, fiber optic splicing enclosures, higher-count fiber cable, poly mule tape, couplers, and wire connectors. Baseline quantities are estimates only; the City may order more, less, different quantities, or none of the listed products. Goods must be new, meet the stated specifications, and be delivered within the required lead times following a purchase order or other written authorization. Bidders must provide manufacturer and model information, unit pricing, extended totals, reel lengths, and estimated lead times. Alternate products may be proposed but are not preferred and must be supported by sufficient technical documentation demonstrating compliance. The City may make a single or multiple line-item awards. Electronic bids must be submitted through the designated portal, including the City-provided cost file and required acknowledgments and certifications. Addendum 1 replaces the specifications pages and cost file, extends the bid deadline, and requires both a signed acknowledgment submitted with the bid and electronic acknowledgment in the portal.
