Description
The City of Los Angeles is soliciting bids for a design-bid-build construction project to remediate existing pedestrian facilities and bring them into compliance with current Americans with Disabilities Act standards at six LA28 Program Access Improvement sites. The work includes replacement of sidewalks, driveways, curbs, and gutters; asphalt concrete patch repairs; tree canopy trimming and root pruning; landscape restoration; catch basin lid remodeling; adjustment of utility boxes and vaults to grade; and removal and reinstallation of water meters. Bidders must possess a valid State of California Contractor's License Classification A at the time of bid. The project is subject to the City's Local Business Preference Program, which provides bid-evaluation reductions for certified local, city, small-business, transitional-employer, and qualifying subcontractor participation. The posted estimate is $2,351,162.
