Description
The Niagara Falls Water Board is soliciting bids for chemicals used at its water and wastewater treatment facilities. The bid covers chlorine, ferric chloride, hydrofluorosilicic acid, sodium hypochlorite, granular high-calcium quicklime, poly-orthophosphate, and polyaluminum chloride; hydrogen peroxide is not being solicited. Estimated quantities are based on historical use and are not guaranteed. Prices must remain firm from January 1 through December 31, 2027, and deliveries are generally required within four calendar days of an order. The specifications include product composition and certification requirements, dedicated tankers or other specified delivery equipment, and safety data sheets. The vendor must provide three references for similar poly-orthophosphate use; polyaluminum chloride bidders must qualify through in-plant testing before award.
