Description
The Lake County Water Authority seeks a vendor to supply and deliver liquid cationic emulsion polymer, FBS C884 or an approved technical equivalent, for use as a flocculant in its water-clarification and solids-separation process. The polymer is generally to be delivered in 2,300-pound intermediate bulk container totes on an as-needed basis; the pricing sheet also includes a liquid-bulk option. The vendor must provide safe transport and offloading, including the equipment and labor needed to transfer the product, and maintain a continuous supply. Emergency delivery is required within 48 hours of notice when needed to prevent treatment interruptions. Proposed alternatives are subject to product review and on-site testing at no cost to the Authority. The contract has an initial one-year term with two optional two-year renewals, by mutual written agreement. It is an indefinite-quantity contract with no guaranteed usage or spending. Bidders must submit pricing, a completed submission form and law-compliance affidavit, at least three qualifying references, proof of Sunbiz registration, and proof of insurance or evidence of insurability. Product information is required if proposing an alternate product. The solicitation evaluates total cost, delivery, past performance, and technical compliance.
