Description
The Bureau of Reclamation is conducting market research for a potential project to remove and replace 10 existing door assemblies at its Eastern Colorado Area Office. The anticipated work includes new doors and frames as needed, glazing, commercial-grade hardware, weather seals, thresholds, and restoration of affected finishes. Door configurations include single and double doors, aluminum storefront systems, sidelights, and transoms. The work may also require integrating designated doors with existing card-access systems, automatic operators, and push-button actuators; testing access, egress, and operation; and meeting applicable building, fire, accessibility, and life-safety requirements. This is a Sources Sought notice for market research, not an active solicitation. Interested firms are asked to provide company information, a capability statement of no more than five pages, and at least three similar projects completed within the last five years, with project details. The draft scope anticipates a 180-calendar-day performance period beginning at Notice to Proceed, but the period has not been finalized.
