Description
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment seeks a contractor to develop PFAS sampling procedures; coordinate and support sample collection for grant participants; provide sampling supplies; arrange laboratory analysis; and prepare analytical data reports. Samples may include treated drinking water, residential wells, wastewater, groundwater, surface water, biosolids, soil, and biota. The contractor must use specified EPA methods for analysis, manage chain of custody, provide electronic results and sampling-location data, and support emergency sampling efforts within one week of notification. The work also includes participant coordination and inquiry support, assistance with sampling at identified at-risk waters, and annual and final project reporting. The solicitation requires at least three years of relevant PFAS sampling and quality-assurance experience, experience with specified analytical methods, and capacity to process at least 1,000 samples. The initial contract term is one year, with up to four additional one-year renewals; the stated total project budget is not expected to exceed $1,500,000.
