Description
Pikes Peak Library District seeks a three-node server cluster to replace the existing servers hosting its virtual infrastructure. The proposed solution must support Nutanix, provide at least 15 TB of usable storage and 512 GB of memory per host, meet the stated networking and high-availability requirements, and accommodate approximately 60 virtual machines with capacity for growth to 100. The equipment must be new, manufacturer-certified, eligible for full manufacturer support, and include Nutanix licensing and one year of production support. A five-year hardware warranty with next-day onsite repair or replacement is required, with an option to extend it. The vendor must provide the materials and perform physical installation, initial hypervisor setup and configuration, migration of the existing virtual machines, and integration with the district’s backup infrastructure and SIEM. Proposals must include equipment, licensing, implementation, migration, warranty, and support pricing, including projected renewal costs for years two through five. The solicitation also requests vendor qualifications, a lead-project resume, and at least three recent similar-project references.
