Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service requires replacement of an unserviceable audiovisual system in the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center multipurpose room. The contractor must provide labor, materials, tools, equipment, system planning and design, installation, programming, testing, staff training, and a one-year labor-and-materials warranty. The system includes a digital media player supporting twelve synchronized video and audio-description programs; a 7,000-lumen laser projector and ceiling mount; two 82-inch 4K televisions; an HDMI matrix switcher; HDMI and USB-C presenter inputs; Blu-ray/DVD playback; two 1080p PTZ cameras; HDMI-over-CAT extenders; five rechargeable wireless microphone systems; room microphones; an audio digital signal processor; audio-to-USB conversion; audio-description and hearing-assistance transmitters and receivers; a UPS and power conditioning; two touchscreen control panels; rack equipment; hard-wired backup controls; and an integrated control system. The contractor must remove existing equipment except the specified projector screen and twelve ceiling speakers, provide operation documentation and programming files, observe the system for one day, and train four Refuge staff for two hours. A site visit is scheduled for September 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. local time.
