Description
Wayne-Westland Community Schools is soliciting bids for Bid Package #3, covering remodeling projects at Edison, Elliott, and Hicks Elementary Schools and Stottlemyer Early Childhood Center. Separate bid divisions include asphalt paving and site concrete; selective demolition; roofing and sheet metal; metal studs, drywall, and acoustical treatments; plumbing; HVAC; and electrical work. Bids must be submitted electronically through BuildingConnected. Each bid must include a five-percent bid security in the form of a bid bond, cashier’s check, or certified check, along with sworn and notarized Familial Disclosure, Iran Linked Business, and Criminal Background Check affidavits. The project is subject to Michigan prevailing-wage requirements, and bidders must be registered with the State of Michigan. Successful bidders must provide required insurance certificates and bonds before work begins; performance and labor-and-material payment bonds may be required in the full contract amount.
