Description
Detroit Public Schools Community District is requesting architectural and engineering services for renovations at the athletic facilities of Central High School, Denby High School, and Southeastern High School. The work includes converting existing grass fields to synthetic turf, installing new field drainage, upgrading field events and athletic equipment, replacing tracks, repairing bleachers, upgrading field lighting and fencing, and improving pedestrian circulation and parking-lot paving. Required design disciplines include architectural, civil, structural, electrical, low-voltage, and landscape services. The selected firm will provide existing-condition assessments, schematic and design-development documents, construction documents, cost estimating and value engineering, permitting support, bidding assistance, construction administration, site representation, inspections, punch-list and closeout support, and record drawings. The estimated hard construction budgets are $3,437,525 for Central High School, $3,373,825 for Denby High School, and $2,411,500 for Southeastern High School. The proposal must include a project approach, relevant experience, organizational chart and resumes, subcontracting plan, pricing, and the required certifications and forms.
