Description
The Detroit Water and Sewerage Department is soliciting bids for the supply and delivery of bronze service clamps under a two-year contract. The requested items include multiple sizes of bronze clamps with corporation-stop threads, double straps or strap saddles, and EPDM or neoprene gaskets. Manufacturer references include A.Y. McDonald No. 3825, but equivalent products may be offered if deviations, manufacturer information, catalog numbers, and descriptive literature are provided. Estimated quantities are provided for a one-year period and are not guaranteed; DWSD may award by line item or lump sum and may issue multiple contracts. Pricing must be all-inclusive, including delivery and related costs, and bidders must state a specific delivery time. Deliveries must be made to DWSD warehouses during weekday receiving hours. The bid package requires the completed pricing sheet and multiple signed forms, affidavits, clearances, and supporting bid materials.
