Description
The U.S. Coast Guard is soliciting a small-business supplier to provide aluminum materials for fabrication at its Detroit facility. Required supplies include 92 sheets of 3/8-inch 5052-H32 aluminum plate, sized 60 by 120 inches, and 240 12-foot lengths of 1/4-inch by 2-1/2-inch 6061-T6511 extruded aluminum. Substitutions are not accepted, and the materials must be delivered within 50 days after receipt of the order. The quotation must include the completed solicitation package, including the SF 1449, Sections B through M, and the reference information sheet. Award will be made to the lowest-priced, responsive, and responsible offeror, including consideration of satisfactory performance on similar work within the past three years. The estimated procurement value is between $100,000 and $250,000. A certificate of insurance is required after award or before work begins, and is therefore not a submission-time attachment.
