Description
The City of Westland is soliciting proposals for comprehensive holiday lighting services at Westland City Hall, Nankin Square and Amphitheatre, and Westland Historic Village Park. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, materials, equipment, installation, testing, seasonal maintenance, removal, cleanup, timers, cords, weather-resistant connections, mounting hardware, lifts, ladders, traffic or pedestrian controls, replacement materials, and site restoration. The scope includes commercial-grade white LED lighting on rooflines, architectural features, trees, landscaping, poles, staircases, rails, boardwalks, bridges, trellises, and amphitheater structures; LED snowflakes, bows, wreaths, garland, and other display pieces; and decoration of 40 sponsored trees. The contractor must complete installation and activation by November 25, 2026, provide weekly inspections through January 15, 2027, correct routine outages within two business days, attend the December 3, 2026, Deck the City Hall event, and remove the installations between February 1 and February 7, 2027. The contract has an initial one-year term with a possible two-year extension by mutual agreement.
