Description
The County of Santa Cruz, Department of Community Development & Infrastructure is soliciting proposals for consulting services to design improvements for the Shark Fin Cove Beach Access Parking Lot. This project aims to address safety and accessibility concerns at the popular coastal destination by designing a formal, paved parking lot with safe ingress and egress, ADA-compliant pathways, and necessary infrastructure. The scope of work includes civil engineering, surveying, geotechnical investigations, traffic analysis, and environmental consulting. Key deliverables involve preliminary design, 65% and 95% design packages, final construction documents, specifications, and engineering estimates. The project will also require environmental support, including NEPA technical studies, CEQA documentation, and permit applications. The selected consultant will manage the project, conduct field investigations, and provide support during the bidding and construction phases.
