Description
The 129th Maintenance Group is soliciting quotes for an Expandable Internal Airlift/Helicopter Slingable Container Unit (ISU). This unit is intended to provide secure space for classified communications and mission planning in various environments, supporting mobile Rescue Operations Centers. The ISU must be agile, capable of transitioning from a stowed to an open configuration in under 15 minutes with a two-person team, and be forkliftable multiple times per day. Key requirements include air certification for C-130, C-17, and C-5 aircraft, with a stowed configuration limited to one pallet position. The unit must feature retractable walls, at least four D-rings in the floor for cargo straps, and a power panel supporting at least a 60A single-phase power draw, capable of switching to generator power and running off a 7,500-watt generator. Integrated AC/Heating and an Environmental Control Unit (ECU) are required, with a preference for an ECU that does not take up floor space. The ISU must also include at least 50ft of cable for shore power, built-in ceiling LED lighting (preferably white), a weather-tight personnel door with a cipher lock, and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. The preferred color for the ISU is tan, though white or green are also acceptable. TSA capability is not required.
