Description
This solicitation is for elevator maintenance, inspection, and repair services for the VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) facilities located in Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Mountain View, and Livermore, California. The contract will be a Firm Fixed-Price type and will include a base year with four option years, covering the period from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2031. Services include semi-annual, annual, and four-year inspections, as well as unscheduled maintenance and repairs. The contractor must be an ASME/NAESA qualified elevator inspector with at least five years of experience and will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform the services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and all applicable laws and regulations. The PWS outlines detailed requirements for inspections, safety procedures, and documentation. The contract also includes supplemental insurance requirements, mandating Workers' Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile Liability coverage.
