Description
The Kansas Department of Labor, Division of Workers Compensation, is seeking proposals for pipe and drape and decorator services for their 52nd Annual Seminar. The event will take place at the Overland Park Convention Center from September 21-23, 2026. Services include setup and tear down of exhibit booths, registration areas, and a backdrop for a stage riser. The scope of work involves providing pipe and drape for booth dividers, backdrops, and a breezeway closure. Specific booth requirements include 10'x10' spaces with 8' high gold draping, royal blue draped tables, bucket chairs, wastebaskets, and carpeting. A WC exhibit station will also require pipe and drape, registration tables, chairs, and wastebaskets. Additionally, 15 cocktail tables with spandex coverings are needed. A backdrop drape of alternating gold and royal blue panels will be installed behind the stage riser in Exhibit Hall A. For the pre-function seminar registration area, six 6' royal blue draped tables, eight padded executive chairs, and six wastebaskets are required. The contract term is six months from the date of award, with services primarily focused on the seminar dates.
