Description
The Indian Health Service is conducting a sources-sought request for information to identify firms capable of installing a replacement individual septic system for an existing home on fee land in Mason County, Washington. The anticipated work includes installing solid sewer pipe, an underground cleanout, a 1,200-gallon concrete trash tank, a concrete advanced treatment unit, a 1,200-gallon pump tank with pump and control panel, effluent transport piping, and a pressurized gravel trench drainfield. The contractor must also pump, decommission, and abandon the existing septic tank in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements. Responses are for market research only; proposals are not being requested or accepted. Respondents must provide company and point-of-contact information, business classifications, bonding capacity, an indication of whether they would submit a proposal if a solicitation is issued, and two to five similar projects completed within the last six years. Experience submissions must include project details and references, along with responses concerning quality control, construction management, and self-performance. Native American or Indian-owned businesses must also submit the IHS Indian Economic Enterprise Representation Form and applicable Bureau of Indian Affairs Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood documentation, with personally identifiable information redacted.
