Description
This competitive Total Small Business Set-Aside is for firm-fixed-price civil works construction to repair four shallow slides—Slides 18, 20, 21, and 28—on the upstream and downstream embankment slopes of Joe Pool Dam. The work includes removing slide debris, excavating with bench cuts into the stable embankment, constructing a keyway into the foundation toe, treating excavated soil with lime, and placing and compacting the treated soil to restore the original design contours. The contractor must complete final surface restoration with riprap on the upstream slope and topsoil with vegetation on the downstream slope.
