Gwinnett County is soliciting competitive quotes for two new electric pottery kilns for the Department of Parks and Recreation. Each kiln must be suitable for pottery and ceramic firing, reach Cone 10 / 2,350°F, operate at 208 volts and three-phase power, and include standard controls and components. Approved equivalents to the specified L&L Kilns Easy-Fire e28T-3 model are acceptable if they meet or exceed the requirements. The quote must include a complete kiln furniture package, including ceramic shelves, stacking posts, and heat-resistant gloves; a compatible 120-volt kiln ventilation system; all accessories needed for safe and normal operation; the manufacturer's standard warranty; anticipated delivery lead time; and total delivered pricing, including freight and liftgate service. Delivery is to Lenora Park Community Recreation Center. Suppliers must return the quote schedule, provide technical and warranty information, and submit at least three references for similar completed work.
