Description
The City of Milpitas' Recreation and Community Services Department is seeking qualifications from vendors that can provide recreation and community services classes in arts and music, enrichment, parent-and-me activities, sports and fitness, and technology for participants ranging from pre-kindergarten through seniors. Selected vendors must develop curricula, provide professional instructors, and supply class materials as necessary. Vendors must also maintain current insurance, Milpitas business licenses, California Secretary of State registration, and other applicable compliance requirements. The opportunity establishes and periodically updates a pre-qualified vendor list. New vendors and current program training providers must submit responses for evaluation. Pre-qualified vendors will be contacted before each seasonal session to submit specific class proposals; pre-qualification does not guarantee selection for any class. The City offers fall/winter, spring, and summer programming, and evaluates new submissions on recurring evaluation dates of September 18, December 4, and April 24. Attachment C is an example of the class proposal form that will be provided to pre-qualified vendors for seasonal proposals, while selected vendors must execute a contract for awarded classes.
