Description
The City of Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities is requesting proposals from a broker or consultant to negotiate with Wyoming-available carriers for annual renewals of its fully insured employee benefits program. The program includes health, dental, vision, health reimbursement arrangements, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, long-term disability, voluntary employee benefits, and an employee assistance program. The selected consultant will provide ongoing strategic advisory services to BOPU management, Board members, leadership, and Human Resources staff. Responsibilities include financial and policy guidance, benefit-strategy recommendations, analysis of cost, coverage, employee impact, and administrative complexity, and maintaining readiness to potentially convert certain benefits to a self-insured model. Proposals must be submitted electronically as one digital PDF file, and shortlisted consultants may be invited to interview.
