Description
The City of Laramie is seeking a qualified firm to dismantle and remove the existing chiller, compressor, and accessory refrigeration equipment at the Ice & Events Center; dispose of removed items, including hazardous materials; design a replacement refrigeration system; and provide and install the new chiller, compressor, plumbing, wiring, and related equipment. Work excludes piping embedded in the concrete floor. The selected firm must support first-season startup and provide a maintenance and operations manual covering startup, operation, preventive and routine maintenance, and shutdown procedures. Qualifications must include a letter of interest, firm and subcontractor background, related experience, at least three similar-project client references from the past five years, proposed personnel and experience, insurance documentation, and a detailed technical proposal addressing equipment, site requirements, load calculations, warranty information, project schedule, and design personnel qualifications. A separate sealed fee proposal covering design and construction services is required; it must not be included with the electronic qualifications submission.
