Description
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, on behalf of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, intends to procure professional services supporting the Division of Compensation Analysis and Support under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Act. The contractor will perform radiation dose reconstructions for claims referred by the Department of Labor and evaluate petitions to add classes to the Special Exposure Cohort. The scope also includes identifying relevant data, claimant communications and computer-assisted telephone interviews, dose estimation and reporting, technical and program management support, operational continuity, cloud migration, and modernization of related systems and processes. Work will be performed at the contractor's facility. Personnel must undergo Level 5C Moderate Risk background investigations, and a reasonable number must possess or be able to obtain Department of Energy Q clearances. The anticipated contract is a cost-plus-award-fee arrangement with a base year and four 12-month option periods.
