Description
Cascade County Public Works is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors to excavate and clean approximately 1.65 miles of existing county ditch while maintaining positive drainage. The work includes removing accumulated soil, sediment, vegetation, obstructions, and other debris; re-establishing the ditch profile and drainage capacity; loading, hauling, and disposing of or placing excavated material at a County-approved location; and restoring areas disturbed by construction activities. The contractor must provide all necessary mobilization, equipment, labor, fuel, traffic control, and incidental work, and must comply with Montana Public Works Standard Specifications. Bidders must use the supplied bid form. The successful bidder will enter into the supplied agreement, which includes insurance obligations and liquidated damages of $1,000 per day for late completion; the completion date is left blank in the provided agreement.
