Description
Cascade County Public Works is soliciting sealed bids for six or more 2026-or-newer police vehicles for the Cascade County Sheriff's Office. The bid package identifies four vehicle types: two fully equipped police utility cruisers with alternative police-electronics packages, and two one-ton extended cargo vans with three-compartment prisoner-transport modules and police equipment. Required equipment includes police lighting and sirens, weapon mounts, partitions, in-car video systems, radios or radio provisions, and other specified accessories. Bidders must provide vehicle specifications, warranty information, estimated delivery dates, fuel-economy information, and any proposed alternatives to the minimum specifications. The county may award different makes or models to different bidders based on the lowest most responsible bid for each vehicle type. Bidders must use the supplied bid form, submit a 10% bid security based on the full vehicle bid before trade-in deductions, and include the completed non-collusion affidavit and contractor verification of nondiscrimination against firearm entities or trade associations. Sealed bids must be submitted in a manila envelope with the required exterior labeling; electronic or digital-media bids are not accepted.
