Description
Bergen County seeks proposals from governmental, nonprofit, and for-profit organizations serving county residents for one or more protective and supportive services. Solicited services include psychological evaluations for children involving custody and visitation matters, psychological services for children with developmental concerns, mentoring for children and families affected by abuse or neglect, domestic-violence counseling and sheltering, crisis care and support for sexual-victimization survivors, care management and counseling for older adults, and social and medical adult day care. Approximately $450,000 is available for the January 1, 2027–December 31, 2027 contract period. Proposals must describe the program, service levels, measurable outcomes, staffing, organizational capacity and experience, cultural-competency and language-access strategies, reporting procedures, and detailed budget. Contracts may be renewed for up to four additional one-year options, subject to funding, continued need, satisfactory monitoring, required reports, and County approval. Required insurance includes general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, professional liability, and fidelity-bond coverage; specific minimum limits are stated for general liability, automobile liability, and employers’ liability.
