Description
The City of Warner Robins is soliciting bids for asbestos abatement and demolition services at 1003 Young Avenue. The scope includes furnishing materials, supervision, technical personnel, labor, and machinery; removing and hauling debris to an approved EPD landfill or other legal disposal location; removing utility structures and site improvements; maintaining site security; verifying utility disconnections; complying with applicable asbestos-abatement, demolition, environmental, and safety regulations; and restoring the lot to natural grade with fill dirt, seeding, straw, and related stabilization. The contractor must review the attached asbestos survey, which identifies asbestos-containing wallboard and joint compound, carpet mastic, exterior door glazing, exterior tar or mastic, and roofing flashing paint. The TCLP lead sample was reported as non-detect. The federally funded project is subject to HUD-4010 Federal Labor Standards Provisions, Davis-Bacon and Related Acts requirements, and the Build America, Buy America Act. Bidders must hold a valid Georgia asbestos-abatement contractor license, attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting, submit required licenses, affidavits, certifications, and supporting documents, and complete the work within 30 working days after commencement. The successful contractor must provide required environmental notifications, disposal records, manifests, and closeout documentation.
