Description
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is soliciting a contractor through a competitive bid process to construct a new Cedar Creek VIPER communications site and decommission the existing tower site in Cumberland County, North Carolina. The work includes a new self-support tower, foundation and caisson work, geotechnical and construction-related activities, and associated site infrastructure. Addendum 2 added four documents to the bid package: the Cedar Creek proposed self-support tower geotechnical report, Cedar Creek caisson materials, revised Cedar Creek Road construction drawings, and the Cedar Creek tower procurement package. The project is expected to be completed within approximately three months after award.
