Description
The Department of the Air Force, through the 20th Contracting Squadron at Shaw Air Force Base, is soliciting bids for the construction of a new Poinsett Land Mobile Radio (LMR) tower. The project includes the procurement and installation of the tower and associated electronic and communications facilities. The period of performance is 240 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This solicitation is a 100% Small Business set-aside under NAICS code 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction). The estimated magnitude of the project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for August 21, 2026, at the Rosemary Fire Tower in Sumter, SC. Bids are due electronically by September 14, 2026, via the PIEE system, with alternate email submission only under specific conditions.
