Description
The California Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to maintain and repair operating equipment at California Central Coast Veterans Cemetery. The equipment includes a Kubota excavator, two John Deere Gators, and two John Deere tractors. Required services include regular semiannual preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and non-emergency repairs, using new replacement parts that meet or exceed original equipment manufacturer specifications. The contractor must provide qualified technicians, labor, transportation, licenses, permits, and required parts. Emergency technicians must arrive on site within two hours of notification, and non-emergency technicians within 24 hours. The contractor must maintain service histories and submit service reports electronically within three business days after service. The solicitation includes a parts allocation of $10,500, with contractor-funded parts up to $500 per repair and prior written approval required for higher-cost parts. The agreement is scheduled to begin November 1, 2026, or upon approval, and end June 30, 2029, with a possible one-year extension.
