Description
Weld County seeks qualified consultants to provide on-call right-of-way acquisition and appraisal services for public works projects. The scope includes acquiring right-of-way parcels and easements; coordinating title work, surveys, appraisals, offers, negotiations, closings, and conveyance documents; preparing acquisition records and clearance letters; and supporting condemnation proceedings when needed. Appraisers must meet the stated Colorado Department of Transportation qualifications and prepare compliant eminent-domain appraisals, including appraisal reviews and litigation-related appraisal support as applicable. Proposals are evaluated through a qualifications-based selection process. Respondents must provide firm and staff qualifications, resumes and experience, similar contracts, critical issues and schedule suggestions, a proposed scope of work, at least three relevant references, an appraisal report excerpt, and a statement of willingness to enter the County’s standard contract. The proposal is limited to 15 pages. The selected consultant may be asked to perform work on multiple projects; subcontracting requires prior written County consent.
