Description
The City of Marina is establishing a pre-qualified pool of independent real estate valuation firms to provide on-call property appraisal services on an as-needed basis. Services include market research, opinions of value, formal appraisal reports, real estate negotiation support, and valuations for right-of-way acquisitions, public infrastructure projects, eminent-domain-related work, partial acquisitions, temporary construction easements, remainder damages, utility easements, and the sale, exchange, or acquisition of property. The lead appraiser must hold an active Certified General Real Estate Appraiser License issued by the California Bureau of Real Estate Appraisers. Firms must have at least five years of continuous experience with municipal public-agency appraisals, public right-of-way valuations, and eminent domain support in California. Deliverables must comply with USPAP and applicable California statutory requirements. The City expects to award one or more Master Services Agreements with a term through June 30, 2029, and three additional one-year renewal options. Proposals must include firm information, project-team information, resumes, example projects and references, qualifications, approach, and the required Forms A through H.
