Description
The City of Charlotte is soliciting bids to establish one or more indefinite-quantity, unit-price contracts for the purchase and delivery of new pavement marking materials and related products for the Charlotte Department of Transportation. The requested items include prefabricated reflective pavement legends and symbols, bike-lane markings, handicap symbols, arrows, letters, school markings, lines, speed-hump materials, sharks' teeth, light-green marking material, blackout material, and primer sealer. Estimated annual quantities and pricing fields are provided for 14 line items, but the City makes no minimum purchase commitment. Products must comply with the current North Carolina Department of Transportation requirements, including Sections 1087 and 1205. Bidders must complete the provided bid response forms, pricing sheet, required certifications and questionnaires, and submit accurate product descriptions and any required technical data. The initial contract term is three years from the award date, with up to two additional one-year extensions at the City's option. Multiple contracts may be awarded, including by line item or combination of items.
