Description
The City of Miramar is seeking a single contractor to provide a turnkey New Year's Eve fireworks display at Miramar Regional Park on January 1, 2027. The required program is approximately 10 minutes long, consisting of an 8-minute choreographed show and a 2-minute grand finale, with at least 1,300 shots using 3-inch through 6-inch aerial shells and multi-shot devices. The contractor must provide the fireworks, labor, equipment, music choreography, permits, site plan, delivery, setup, supervision, dismantling, unexploded-shell recovery, and cleanup. The display must comply with applicable Florida law, the Florida Fire Prevention Code, and NFPA 1123. Respondents must complete a mandatory site inspection, submit the provided quote price sheet and shell count chart, demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience, provide three qualifying public-sector references, and submit an ATF federal explosives license or permit. The lowest responsible, responsive contractor will be considered for award.
