Description
The City of Celina is soliciting bids to upgrade protection for its 69kV transmission system by modifying existing relay and protection panels at various city substations. The work includes installing new city-furnished relay and control panels on existing relay cabinet doors, performing the required rewiring, and coordinating and assisting with the interconnection of existing city-owned and operated fiber-optic cables to the new panels. Bidders must register with the engineer before submitting, and only registered bidders' proposals will be accepted. Bids must be signed, submitted in duplicate on the separately provided proposal forms, and delivered in a sealed envelope; electronic submissions are not accepted. A bid guaranty bond or certified check equal to 10% of the bid is required.
