Description
The City of Fort Wayne is soliciting bids for lead service line replacements within Census Tract 10, including approximately 400 water service replacements. The project also includes installation by horizontal directional drilling of approximately 1,330 linear feet of 2-inch HDPE water main, 7,147 linear feet of 6-inch HDPE water main, and 1,388 linear feet of 8-inch HDPE water main, plus hydrants, valves, connections, and related appurtenances. The contractor must furnish all labor, insurance, equipment, materials, and power necessary to complete the project. Bids must be submitted electronically through QuestCDN's vBid system, and the successful bidder must provide labor and material payment and performance bonds, each for at least 100% of the contract price.
