Description
The City of Auburn is soliciting sealed bids for the 2027 Street Reconstruction Project covering South Cedar Street from 10th Street to 15th Street and Virginia Lane from Portage Pass to 550 feet north of Timber Trace. Work includes removal and replacement of asphalt or concrete pavement with asphalt and limestone base, concrete curb and gutter work, perforated flex underdrains, sidewalk replacement, ADA curb ramps with detectable dome plates, driveway approaches, pavement markings, and grass restoration. The bid package must include the Contractor Bid Form, Indiana Form 96, IRS Form W-9, E-Verify work eligibility documentation, an affidavit concerning employment of unauthorized aliens, an affidavit concerning investment activities in Iran, and either a five-percent bid bond or cashier's check. Additional drug-testing-policy and contractor-certification documentation may be required based on the bid amount.
