Description
The Town of Roanoke is soliciting sealed lump-sum bids from a single prime contractor for improvements to its wastewater treatment plant. The project includes demolition of the existing plant and construction of new processes to increase capacity from 0.35 MGD average daily flow and 0.6 MGD peak daily flow to 0.75 MGD average daily flow and 3.0 MGD peak daily flow. Major work includes a new screening structure, onsite lift station, sequencing batch reactors, ultraviolet disinfection system, effluent metering system, electrical building, site piping, site work, fencing, and new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and SCADA systems. Alternate bid items are included in the Bid Form. Bid security is required in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
