Description
The Ohio Department of Public Safety, specifically the Ohio Investigative Unit (OIU), is seeking bids for the purchase and installation of a woven wire security cage at the OIU Maumee Facility located at 1722 Indian Wood Circle, Maumee, OH 43537. The awarded bidder is expected to complete the project by August 1, 2026. Bidders are responsible for reviewing all attached solicitation documents, including the Contract Sample & Specifications, Instructions, Terms and Conditions for Bidding, and the State of Ohio Standard Terms and Conditions. Bids will be evaluated based on total low lot price, determined by multiplying unit prices by estimated usage. Failure to quote all items or provide a PDF quote with 60-90 day price validity may result in disqualification. Descriptive literature may be requested as part of the evaluation process. An optional site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the OIU Maumee Facility. Pre-registration is required by 2:00 PM (EST) on Monday, June 22, 2026, by emailing pehearst@dps.ohio.gov.
