Description
The U.S. Air Force is soliciting firm-fixed-price offers for KC-46 aircraft components: 240 each of two fire extinguisher cartridge variants and 295 off-wing escape squib switches. The items are explosive, safety-critical components with specified National Stock Numbers, DODICs, manufacturer part numbers, serial-number marking, IUID requirements, hazardous-material classifications, and a required ISO 9001:2015 quality system. The solicitation identifies Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials as the approved source and states that proprietary data, specialized facilities, tooling, and test equipment may limit consideration of previously unidentified sources. Performance includes manufacturing and delivery, lot acceptance testing, source inspection, ammunition data cards, engineering and quality documentation, military packaging and marking, hazardous-material shipping compliance, shipment reporting, and applicable CDRL submissions through WAWF. The solicitation is unrestricted but includes a HUBZone price-evaluation preference and requires CMMC Level 1 for systems handling federal contract or controlled unclassified information.
