Description
The U.S. Air Force is seeking information from potential sources for classroom desk furniture for four classrooms. The requirement includes 32 rectangular workstation desks measuring approximately 60 inches by 30 inches, with fixed-height metal frames, high-pressure laminate surfaces, neutral colors, stationary legs, integrated utility-management raceways, adjustable risers, ANSI/BIFMA compliance, and specified load capacities. It also includes four L-shaped instructor office desks measuring approximately 72 inches by 48 inches, with high-pressure laminate surfaces, stationary legs, neutral colors, and a minimum total load capacity of 1,000 pounds. The contractor would be responsible for verifying measurements, delivering, assembling, and installing the furniture; removing packaging and debris; and complying with facility-access requirements. The furniture must include the standard manufacturer's warranty plus an additional 180 days from installation. This is a Sources Sought notice for market research, not a solicitation or request for proposals.
