Description
The University of Southern Mississippi is soliciting sealed bids for new, unused scientific and laboratory equipment for a new aquaculture research facility. The requested equipment includes precision and analytical balances, laboratory stirring hotplates, filter-holder vacuum manifolds, a refrigerated benchtop centrifuge, LED plant growth chambers, a general-purpose heating and drying oven, a portable laboratory balance, an ultra-low-temperature freezer, a fluorometer, and small pre-vacuum steam sterilizers. The specifications permit approved-equal products, but equivalent bids must include complete technical specifications, manufacturer literature, a detailed side-by-side comparison, performance and compatibility documentation, and any installation or operational differences. The sterilizer package must include specified water-conditioning and vacuum-pump options, loading equipment, installation, and startup services. Delivery is FOB destination, and bidders must provide an estimated delivery timeline with their bid; shipments must include packaging lists and applicable product documentation.
