Description
The solicitation requests turnkey procurement, delivery, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of one 125 kW diesel backup generator, one 1,200-amp service-entrance-rated automatic transfer switch, and four #500 kcmil copper conductors for Building 70. The work includes site preparation, a reinforced concrete equipment pad, equipment anchoring, conduit and control wiring, utility integration, demolition and disposal of the existing manual transfer switch, grounding and bonding, cleanup, and coordination for delivery and staging. The contractor must perform pre-commissioning inspections, a minimum two-hour resistive load-bank test, automatic transfer testing, training for base personnel, and provide operation and maintenance manuals and warranty documentation. The generator must include a 250-gallon minimum double-walled sub-base fuel tank and sound/weather enclosure; the ATS must be NEMA 3R, service-entrance rated, and include automatic controls and manual bypass capability. The solicitation requires a technical approach and proposed schedule, a completed vendor information and quote section, pricing for CLIN 0001, a 30-day quote validity period, and a bid guarantee. The requirement is a total small-business set-aside, and funds are not currently available.
